  • Difficulties with concentration and decision making

  • Restlessness and inability to physically relax
  • Low self-esteem and lack of confidence
  • Unassertiveness
  • Easily irritated
  • Little or no energy
  • Eating less or more
  • Difficulties accepting, adjusting and coping with a significant event (e.g. medical diagnosis, bereavement, broken down relationship and redundancy).
  • Short term memory problems
  • Long term memory problems
  • Inability to care for finances
  • Losing items frequently
  • Failure to recognize familiar faces
  • Failure to recognize known items and their use
  • Poor attention and concentration
  • Poor decision-making
  • Language problems (e.g. fluency, naming, pronunciation, comprehension, spelling, etc.)
  • Confusion (day, time and place)
  • Repetition and perseveration
  • An unexplained change in personality
  • Changes in emotional functioning (eg. increased anxiety or depression)
