Online therapy – A brief presentation for clients’ and therapists
I have been offering online therapy for over a decade and have always advocated for its effectiveness and reliability as a means of delivering therapy. In 2019, I was invited by Riga Stradins University to give a presentation to their students on digital mental health. During the talk, I discussed the evolution of mental health in our digital era and used telepsychology (i.e., therapy delivered via telecommunication tools such as the internet) as an example to illustrate how psychological services can be transformed by technological innovation. Here is a version of the presentation in slides that has been slightly adapted for clients and colleagues who might be interested in finding out more about the topic.
